Westboro Court: Dec. '07 |
"HE SAVED MY LIFE. I WAS DEAD GUILTY." |
"He's quick, smart, and fast. The way he speaks just blows you away. He made all the right decisions: got 2 incriminating statements thrown out at a Motions Hearing, then told me to try the case in front of a certain judge and not a jury. I'm driving again and kept my job after the not guilty verdict. Good thing, too, my wife is 4 months pregnant. I highly recommend him."
We walked into Court and he knew everybody --and I mean everybody! |

'JOE DOMINATED THE COURT ROOM AND WALKED ALL OVER THE D.A.' |
I was ready to take the First Offender Deal but after speaking with Joe I was convinced he could win my case. He scheduled a Trial just 6 weeks after my arrest on a date he knew the judge on duty to be the most lenient. When two police officers came instead of one, he quickly reacted with a Motion to Sequester so they couldn't speak and tell each other what they said in the Court room. I was found Not Guilty and had my license reinstated the same afternoon.
Then he followed through and made sure I had all the documents and direction I needed to get my license back the same day. I recommend him without hesitation. It is so nice to be able to drive again.
He provided me with valuable advice without ever pushing his opinions on me. |

ILLEGAL ARREST
OF 3RD OFFENDER:
CASE THROWN OUT AND LICENSE RESTORED |
Joe brought a Motion to suppress the stop of my motorcycle proving the cop had followed me illegally into Somerville from Cambridge. He then brought another Motion to restore my license. The Judge agreed with both. Instead of 6 months in jail and 13 years without a license I am driving again. I can’t thank him enough.
He paid attention to every minor detail and followed every possible lead. |

JOE SAVED ME 3 YEARS WITHOUT A LICENSE. I SWEAR HE KNEW MORE THAN THE JUDGE |
"He was awesome for me. I called him at 3 am and he called me back at 4 am! I filled out paperwork online on his website and he met me the next morning in Court. He had stuff highlighted and was all prepared. I didn't have to say anything to anybody. He made everything so easy. I have nothing bad to say about him. He's awesome." |

5 YEAR LICENSE LOSS REDUCED TO 9 MONTHS WITH WORK LICENSE
|
Thanks for all your help, and especially for your timely and quick responses when I was first faced with this situation. I look forward to many years of violation free driving. I've given up both alcohol and tobacco and will begin training for my 21st consecutive Boston Marathon in September. Keep in touch. I will be glad to advocate on your behalf. Please put my cell phone number on your website. All the best, Philip M. |

GOT ME OUT OF BIG TIME TROUBLE NOT JUST ONCE BUT TWICE |
My first arrest I blew a .32- four times the legal limit!. He arranged to have the case heard on the day before Christmas assuring me it was the best day of the year to get a good deal. He was absolutely right: I got just a slap on the wrist. Then when I got a second OUI out of state during the probation period for my first one, he told me exactly what I needed to do to avoid additional trouble in Massachusetts. He was absolutely right again. He is one incredible attorney. |

'HE SEEMED TO BE THE ONLY ONE IN THE COURT ROOM WHO KNEW THE LAW'
|
“Facing my second offense and my second drug charge, I was sure I was headed for jail but ended up with only a 90 day license loss. It really was something to see you politely informing the Judge and the Court Clerk about the updated laws. I can't imagine what might have happened if I didn’t have such a thoroughly prepared attorney. Thank you, Joe.” |

"IF IT WASN'T FOR HIM, I'D BE IN JAIL."
|
"I can tell you he's an excellent choice to represent you. He worked on two cases for me, drunk driving and another. He did great things. If it wasn't for him I'd be in jail, honestly. I highly, highly recommend having his services." |

'LISTEN TO WHAT HE SAYS AND JUST DO IT!" |
Under Melanie’s Law, the RMV took my license away for 8 years. I knew Joe had a handle on OUI law because he represented me --very successfully --5 years before. He appealed the new 8 year suspension, went to two Hearings before the Board, presented the records he had found -- from 25 years ago! -- and finally convinced them to reverse the RMV’s decision. He saved my plumbing business from going down the toilet. No joke!
My license was restored immediately! |

NOT GUILTY 3RD OFFENSE |
Charged with a third offense, I faced 6 months in jail, a 13 year loss of license and the loss of my job and pension. Attorney Waldbaum did everything carefully, deliberately and ultimately, correctly. He's very smart, knows a lot about the system, and won't B.S. you. He tells you straight up what could happen to you and what's going on. I cried when the Jury said, “Not Guilty.“
"He made the cop squirm on the witness stand for every lie."

JURY ACQUITS 3RD OFFENDER IN 10 MINUTES |
I faced possible jail and a license loss of 13 years. Joe noted in the report the cop had seen me wearing eyeglasses when he stopped me but told me to take them off before I did the balancing tests. Nowhere in his report did he tell me to put them back on.
Joe deliberately chose jurors who wore eyeglasses.
Joe asked the cop so many questions he had no idea how to answer. It was just really smart. He even impressed the Judge. They acquitted me in ten minutes and the Judge ordered my license restored immediately.

NO JAIL: 3RD OFFENSE REDUCED TO 2ND |
I was 17 and 18 when I got my first 2 OUIs. Arrested again at 35, under Melanie’s Law, I was charged with a 3rd offense, a felony, and faced a minimum 6 months in jail. Joe wrote a glowing letter to the DA’s office, detailing the reasons why the charges should be reduced. He knew which DA’s to negotiate with and which Judges would accept a reduction of the charges. On the very next Court date, that’s exactly what happened.
I received no jail and can continue to support my wife and 3 children thanks to him.
