Joseph Waldbaum has handled approximately 4,000 OUI cases in over 60 Massachusetts courts. He has represented defendants on cases ranging from speeding tickets to first degree murder [where his client was acquitted]. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the Massachusetts School of Law and was valedictorian of his graduating class. He also completed the National Criminal Defense College. His practice is now limited to OUI defense.
He has been an active member of the National College of OUI Defense for over fifteen years, regularly attending their seminars. He is also a member of the DUI Lawyers of America and the author of a law review article entitled DNA Databanks in Massachusetts published by the Journal of Law and Social Challenges in 1999.
He has been chosen to be the Chairperson by MCLE (Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education) for a seminar entitled: Driverless Cars: Criminal and Civil Liability to be held on May 17, 2017 in Boston.
